• Includes 194208 Bow Tie Lock Cotter Pin, 5/16.
• Includes 194209 Bow Tie Lock Cotter Pin, 7/16.

The smaller bow tie lock (cotter pin) is installed on the deck end with the washer. The larger bow tie lock (cotter pin) is installed in the hole about 3″ down for the front of the link. The purpose of the large cotter pin is to prevent the link from falling out and getting lost if the pin comes loose at the deck. These new style bow tie locks will not come out as easily as the old style clips but can be dislodged (or even broken) if something is hit.
