4Hard to find  Apr 29, 2012
By Nelson from Maine
Got this hard to find carb from Amazon and it worked out just perfectly. It was a pain to drill the pilot holes to the right size, but the screws fit good after that. The engine started with just a couple pulls and very little adjustment of the carb. NO more fear of buying small engine parts on the web.

5Great Carb  Mar 05, 2012
By Romby
I have an older Ariens ST824 snowblower that was running like garbage. After cleaning the carb numerous times with poor results I decided to order one of these carbs. Installation couldn't be easier and with a little adjustments the old girl starts everytime now on the first pull and runs like a dream. I highly recommend this product to anyone.

5Great item!!! Snowblower runs great! Threaded issue fixed!!!!!!  Jan 12, 2012
By Jason "Bag O'Donuts"
Got this carb in great working order, quick shipping. One thing to note is that the non-threaded holes that some people reported is now resolved!!!!!!!!!!!!! The box was marked "threaded" and everything was threaded correctly, no need to modify or put a tap into any of the holes!!!!

5East to install  Dec 12, 2011
By Jeff Spanier
This carburetor absolutely made my day. I received it in less that a week and it was very easy to install. It took me less than 30 minutes to remove the old one and reinstall the new one. After it was installed, I turned the gas back on, primed it twice, choked it and the engine started on the first pull. Now I won't have to shovel the snow out of my drive because my 26 year old snow blower is once again running. Price was right, too. I found OE Tecumseh carburetors selling for as much as $123.00. This one was less that $40.00.

5gasket not needed  Dec 07, 2011

Do not buy the gasket that amazon suggests you need. It is included in the carburator packaging, and you will waste seven dollars. The carb is great and only needs minor adjustments after installation.
