Also replaces Sears wheels 180658 Jun 27, 2010
By M. Kunkel My mower takes Sears wheels 180658. Sears told me that the 193144 kit would not work. The wheels looked the same from the picture and AMC Parts Store even sent me detailed dimensions, so I way pretty sure these would fit, which they did. They are an exact match to the wheels on my mower. Even the number stampings are the same. From Sears, the wheels would have cost me $63. As far as the gears wearing out, I've had no problems. I only needed to replace the wheels because the rubber tread was worn down bald.

My OEM, Husqvarna wheel stripped out the gear teeth, great replacement Feb 11, 2013

My OEM, Husqvarna wheel stripped out the gear teeth, great replacement and it has ball bearings, as the OEM didn't. Fast shipping, paid more than I wanted to,but cheaper than SEARS price and fast shipping. Highly recommend. I forgot to mention these wheels are made from hard rubber as the OEM were plastic. Treads are pretty much the same pattern. These are what the mower should have come with in the first place.

Same as original... Jan 31, 2013
By John E These are exactly the same as the original wheels. As such, they have the same design flaw of plastic gears, which will strip out over time. What is really needed are some wheels with a metal gear drive which won't grind away or slip. But those would probably be two expensive. The price was right, shipping was fast, and they are an EXACT fit of the original wheel.
Just what mom needed May 18, 2013
By k5mudhunter My mom had worn down the drive wheels on her Craftsman self-propelled mower to just sidewalls. Since she refused to use the riding mower I bought her, I got this set of drive wheels. They fit just right and had actual bearings instead of the original plastic bushings.
Several people have commented on how the dust covers were warped. Mine also arrived warped, but seemed to straighten out as I laid them out for a week until I was able to install them. I couldn't have used the original dust covers if I wanted to as they were smaller and would have interfered with the fit of the new wheels. They didn't seem to rub on anything or create a big gap. The outside "hub caps" also snapped on snug and tight just like they did on the originals.
With an oil change, new plug and air filter, along with a resharpened blade and these wheels, she really noticed the difference. Don't have to go shopping for a new mower now, she said.
The wheel quality is very good. The dust cover warpage needs to be addressed by the manufacturer. I suspect they have no support in the middle when they come out of the mold and since they are so thin, they warp as they cool off. So I give the wheels a 5, and since my covers straightened out, I'll give them a 4. I guess that averages out to 4 1/2 stars, which rounds up to 5.
This is an easy install and I recommend it for anyone that has a mower in generally good shape that wants to extend its usefulness instead of replacing it.
Wheels were fine. Covers were warped. May 09, 2013
By Sylvia Liebbe Delivery was quick for this product. When I put them on, I found the wheels were fine, but the covers were warped. So I wound up using the old covers, which were better quality. No big deal. I'm glad to have found these wheels at a decent price, but it just goes to show that replacement quality is often not as good as original.
