Description:

Used on Craftsman, Poulan, Husqvarna, Wizard, and more. This part was used on 36, 38, and 42" AYP mowers from 1993 until about 2002. Has three mounting holes. If your housing is broken and the shaft and bearings are in good shape then this is the part to buy. Save money by only replacing the housing. With this new design the need for those darn hard to install self tapping bolts is eliminated. With the previous replacement housings (and even the current replacement FSP housing) it was common for the self tapping bolts to break when installing.

This Mandrel Housing part is a smooth swap.
Old bolt heads just breakoff.
The reuseable shaft might need a strong hit to un-seat it from the bearings.
Runs like new now.

Good price, have bought several to repair my two mowers. Attaching ears on this and original are a weak spot. Tend to break if mower hits something solid.

A mandrel housing on my Craftsman 42 inch cut broke and I needed a new one to mow my lawn. This product is the exact match for my mower but for much less. I highly recommended this product. Great for the price and quality.
