Riding mower riding again Oct 15, 2010

Wire had burned off the old solenoid leaving me without a lawn mower and two uncut acres. Found the part number in the Cub Cadet database and ordered it through Amazon. Price was right and shipping was fast. No excuse for a high lawn now!

Bought this solenoid to replace the one on my Yard Man lawn mower. I was a little worried because it was less than one third the cost of the one my local lawn mower parts supplier wanted for one. Believe it or not, when this one arrived, it had the exact part # stamped on it, and had the same brand label as the original also. This is just unreal; shows just how much markup is in the parts business. The solenoid has been performing the job since mowing season began without a hitch. Glad I found this product.
