no gas entering bowl Aug 29, 2013
By Jim H.
No gas or very low volume entering the bowl---the float needle valve does not lift up far enough to let fuel in. To correct this the float/needle valve cradle has to been re-position. I used a match heated the plastic cradle on the float and changed the position of the cradle/needle valve. Not a good way to do business but it is now working.-------Jim H-------
its alive its alive! Nov 28, 2012
I have a very old ariens lawnmower that I inherited from my grandfather. with a Tecumseh motor, the lawnmower has always been very reliable but with the 10% ethanol fuel starting to be served everywhere, the needle seat in the carb corroded and blocked itself off, rendering the mower useless. this carb is not a Tecumseh part, rather, it is made by ROTARY corp. It installed easily and it started right up! cant ask for more! I will be using ethanol treatments in all of my small engines from now on...
