Description:

Oil filter used in many Briggs & Stratton and Kohler engines. Replaces Briggs 491056 and Kohler 52-050-02. 2.921" OD, 3.4" H, Tread size 3/4-16. Will also replace Briggs 492932 unless there is a clearance problem. 492932 is about 3/4" shorter but clearance is rarely an issue in lawn tractor usage.

  • Rotary Filter to Replace Briggs/Kohler

  • 491056 will replace 492932, same filter but taller.

  • Also replaces Kohler 52-050-02

I was about to purchase this from Amazon when I found that there was a Fram direct replacement for it. It was much easier and just as cheap to purchase this locally and get it immediately.
