5actually does what it is advertised to do  Jun 13, 2010
By Bobby Sanders Sr. "Briarblu72"
This is my second pair of Gator blades. Since I bought my first pair I will not use anything else. They are twice as thick as the original Sears blades and mulch leaves and grass into much smaller pieces.

5What a blade  Jul 27, 2010
By David Black
This is the best blade I have ever put on a lawnmower. I never knew the blade could make such a difference. It is much heavier than the original one. The first thing I did with them was mow my lawn and they were perfect. The 2nd thing I did was mow my Dad's overgrown (2+ years) field full of junk. It is just over an acre and I hit rocks, angle iron, boards, small tree stumps and weeds that were as tall as my riding lawn mower. These blades just cut it all down. When I hit the angle iron I thought for sure I had ruined one of the blades because there was a chunk knocked out of the iron. When I got my mower home I looked at them and the blade that hit was dented but not bent. I didn't even sharpen it, just mowed my grass and it cut very nicely. I'll take it off and sharpen it this weekend and cut my lawn again, I bet it will work as well as it did the first time.

4Buying replacement blades for my lawn tractor  May 08, 2011
By Dennis
These blades are a recommended replacement for the original blades. Due to a unique misapplication,(my fault,,, won't go into details,, but absolutely nothing to do with the using on my lawn tractor), I broke both blades. They are indeed made of good sturdy heavy material, and tempered to a very durable degree. They arrived in the expected shipping time, but VERY disappointed that I was charged a standard ground shipping fee when they should have shipped "free super-savings". Don't know how that happened, perhaps another mistake on my part, but a word of advice to all purchasers, be very careful about which box you check, and when and how you do it, particularly if the "free" shipping influences your deal!!
Other than that disappointment, Product is fine, matter of fact superior to the original, and arrived in fine condition (as expected).

1Plug riding mowers.  May 20, 2012
By M. Miller
Tried to get my money out of these blades, but it is not going to happen. They don't create enough lift and leave clippings all over the yard with my craftsman riding mower. Second week using them, I had to stop and remove them. I prefer bagging my clipping to plugging the mower and leaving a mess. One star is much more than these blades deserve.
